You guide multidisciplinary teams to timely and thorough realization of assignments, together with customer representatives. You help public organizations with the strategy, design, implementation, and execution of major tax and legal issues. Advising ministries, implementing organizations, and other public institutions on fiscal and legal strategy, design choices, and implementation; Analyzing and solving tax issues (e.g., corporate tax) and ensuring correct application within processes and systems; Simplifying legal procedures and translating requirements (e.g., Open Government Act) into work processes and information management; Developing creative, legally permissible financing solutions for sustainability challenges; Working in multidisciplinary teams and contributing to project-based transformations from strategy to implementation. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- You are curious, eager to learn, and flexible. You are a team player, ask for help when needed, and are open to feedback.
- Completed WO Master's degree in Tax Law and/or Dutch Law.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in/for the central government.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and their impact on policy and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills and accustomed to working project-based and structured.
- Experience with stakeholder management and political/administrative sensitivity.
- Experience with WOO (Wet Open Overheid - Open Government Act), objection and appeal procedures, and/or process control in implementing organizations is a plus.
- You have good spoken and written proficiency in both Dutch and English. Our team operates within the Dutch public sector, which means Dutch is the working language.
