Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Qualification and experience as per Higher Education Commission (HEC) Criteria for Associate Professor (BPS-20).
• Proof of articles published in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized journal/international indexed/impact factor must be attached with each research article.
• Qualification and experience shall be calculated and examined as on the closing date of submission of applications.

How to Apply:

• Submit a Demand Draft / Pay Order of Rs. 5,000/- (Non-Refundable) as a processing fee for applications, in favor of the University of Sufism & Modern Sciences, Bhitshah.
• Application forms can be downloaded from the university's website: www.usms.edu.pk or obtained from the office of the Registrar.
• Candidates applying for the post of Associate Professor should submit five sets of documents.
• Each document set must include:
  • Completed application form
  • Complete bio-data/CV
  • Attested copies of degrees and certificates
  • Recent photographs
  • Research Publications
• Each document set submitted must be properly bound in hard copy.
• Candidate applying for more than one post should submit separate application form(s) along with separate bank draft with necessary documents for each post.
• The envelope should be clearly marked with the post applied for.

General Conditions:

• Candidates serving in government/semi-government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel and will be responsible for getting themselves relieved properly from their departments.
• The fresh appointments (i.e. other than University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah Employees) shall be entitled for contributory pension scheme as per Government of Sindh rules.
• Maximum age limit is 55 years for the Position of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.
• Incomplete applications, i.e., without educational, professional, demand draft, experience certificate, or applications received after the specified date shall not be entertained.
• The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised post(s) partly or as a whole, or to reduce or increase the number of posts at any time without assigning any reason.
• Only short-listed candidates shall be called for the written test/interview, and non-eligible candidates will not be informed.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing at the interview/written test.
