Role Overview:
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Karachi (our newly built tertiary care cancer facility), requires the services of a full-time Consultant Radiologist in its department of Radiology. The Appointee will be expected to have expertise in all aspects of radiology but with specific expertise and interest in ultrasonography, cross-sectional body imaging, women-s imaging PET-CT, or interventional radiology. Site specialization is imperative in the development of these services. The major purpose of these posts is to strengthen and develop radiology services at the hospital. The individual will be expected to work with radiographers, staff, and managers to ensure that established quality assurance and quality practice guidelines and standards are maintained.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- MBBS
- MRCP, FRCS, FRCR, FCA, MRCPath (or other appropriate qualification), together with evidence of completion of speciality training.
- American Boards, with appropriate sub-speciality boards where applicable.
- FCPS with evidence of completion of speciality training, appropriate sub-speciality qualification, where applicable and a minimum of three years of approved overseas experience
- Full and unencumbered registration with the PMDC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
