Job Description:
- REGULAR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of all kind of media /reagents/stains
- Analyze laboratory findings.
- Conduct parasitological and serological analysis of urine and blood.
- Check the accuracy of results
- Processing of all Routine Microbiological Samples
- Antibiotic Susceptibility processing
- Basic Microbiology Reporting of all Routine Cultures
- Calibrate and operate all instruments in the microbiology Lab
- Run quality controls on daily basis , run EQA
- Inform all abnormal results to related Dr/ consultant
- Retention of all types of samples according to SOPs
- Instruct and train juniors and trainees
- Issuance of reports
- Rejection of tests if required
- Rejection of samples on certain criteria prescribed in SOPs
- Repetition of test if required
- Daily consumption of inventory
