Data and technology play an undeniable role in the world of building and maintaining large capital-intensive projects and networks. At PwC, you help leading clients in the (semi-)public sector with assignments that truly make an impact together. The aging of the National Infrastructure (Highways, Railways, and Waterways), the energy transition, and the growing demand for Defense infrastructure mean that the construction and maintenance agenda is growing ever faster, while there is a scarcity of labor, resources, and space. This makes projects more complex, while more needs to be realized with the same number of people. For this, the asset (information) management function of (semi-)governments must be improved, whereby the opportunities of technology in this sector must also be utilized to meet the expectations of citizens and the business community. Professionalizing the Asset Information Management function of public network organizations is an important step in this. Such challenges require a multidisciplinary approach, where data and technology almost without exception play an increasingly important role, and where a people-oriented approach is necessary for connection between Business and IT, and Business/IT and the Management. In doing so, you ensure fundamental support and trust in the approach. PwC advises and supports our (semi-)public sector clients in digital asset information transformations and data-driven working, also throughout the entire ecosystem of construction and maintenance parties.
What You Will Do:
- Feed the strategy and implementation plans of public organizations and concretize the added value of professionalizing the Asset Management organization;
- Conduct dialogue with administrators and senior management about ‘the art of the possible’. Which new processes and technologies are relevant and applicable and can deliver social value;
- Help our clients define the most suitable target architecture (the horizon) and advise on the gradual modernization of the entire organization and the associated ICT landscape. You will identify the impact and draw up a transition plan;
- Support complex technology decision-making, evaluation of solution directions, and analysis of how the market can help by deploying proven technologies;
- Translate technology (both physical and IT) into organization: what organizational structure and governance are needed to effectively deploy the technology;
- Oversee and adjust complex technological transformations and programs and initiatives in the field of data-driven working;
- You are preferably also an inspiring coach who helps, challenges, inspires, and provides a platform for teammates. You have a good sense of what teammates need, make time to guide them in this, and contribute to a pleasant people journey for colleagues and clients through your positive and open communication.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Driven professional with experience and ambition;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as (Enterprise) Architect and/or as a consultant at a reputable consulting firm or public organization in the field of Asset (Information) Management. Candidates with more or less experience are also encouraged to apply;
- Specific experience in the public sector is a plus, but more important is service orientation and the ambition to contribute to the public interest;
- Completed university Master's degree(s);
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken;
- Experience in guiding junior colleagues.
