You will join the asset management specialized team of PwC Société d’Avocats, a dynamic and rapidly growing team, recognized for its technical expertise and its high value-added consulting position. It supports the largest players in the asset management sector, both in France and internationally (management companies, investment funds, financial institutions, international groups). You will evolve in a demanding and multidisciplinary environment, in close interaction with the other expertises of the firm (Corporate, M&A, Financial Services, ESG, International Tax) as well as with the PwC network in France and abroad, to contribute to complex and structuring projects for our clients. Your missions: Supervised by expert lawyers in asset management law and taxation, you will intervene on high value-added issues for leading clients, particularly on: corporate taxation (corporate income tax), transactional taxes, specific taxes and duties in the financial sector, as well as indirect taxes; major developments in international taxation, particularly within the framework of Pillar 2, as well as emerging tax issues related to ESG; tax support for clients in the preparation and execution of tax due diligences (buy-side and sell-side); tax assistance in strategic merger and acquisition (M&A) operations and complex reorganizations. You will approach these subjects with a technical, pragmatic, and technological approach, contributing to the design and deployment of innovative digital solutions, adapted to the needs of major reference players in asset management, both in France and internationally.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Holder of the CAPA (Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat - Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession) and a Master 2 degree in business law and/or taxation.
- You must have at least 4 years of experience in taxation, acquired in a specialized law firm and/or with players in the asset management sector.
- You must be proficient in professional English, both written and spoken (B2 level required), which is essential in an international context.
- You demonstrate an analytical mind and an aptitude for new technologies.
- Your ability to handle varied subjects, your interpersonal skills, and your desire to evolve in an an inclusive and collaborative environment will be decisive assets for your success within our collective.
- Your taste for teamwork and your involvement in the training of junior colleagues will contribute fully to your success and that of the firm.
