Job Location IOWA CITY PLANT Job Description About the Role We are seeking a skilled E&I / ICA Technician to support industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role focuses on safe execution, automation support, and continuous improvement across production systems and capital projects. What You’ll Do Support site electrical and ICA systems, projects, and master plans Provide PLC and control system programming and troubleshooting support Support equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and best practices Maintain accurate electrical drawings, control documentation, and BOMs Participate in project meetings and vendor acceptance testing Drive system reliability, standardization, and continuous improvement Job Qualifications Required Experience LVQ qualified or able to pass LVQ qualification testing Experience with 480 VAC, 120 VAC, and 24 VDC industrial control systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical education Preferred Experience PLC programming experience with Rockwell ControlLogix and/or Siemens TIA Portal Experience with EtherNet/IP and Profinet networks Hands-on experience with instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow) Exposure to VFDs, servo systems, robotics (ABB), vision systems, or HVAC controls Project experience supporting electrical and automation scopes Why Join Us Work with advanced industrial automation technologies Hands-on role supporting critical manufacturing systems Strong focus on safety, training, and career development Collaborative, team-oriented environment Job Schedule Full time Job Number R000143921 Job Segmentation Plant Technicians Starting Pay / Salary Range $31.40 / hour P&G was founded over 180 years ago as a simple soap and candle company.
