Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Bank AL Habib is seeking experienced and analytical professional to join our Credit Division as Team Lead – Credit Assessment. This role is responsible for supervising credit assessment officers, ensuring high-quality evaluation of credit proposals, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- MBA / Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit assessment
- Review credit cases assessed by Credit Analysts and ensure quality evaluation
- Ensure compliance with Credit Policy, Credit Manual, Shariah rules (where applicable), and SBP Prudential Regulations
- Coordinate with Zonal Offices, Business Team Leads, and Relationship Managers to analyze proposals and assess credit limits
- Provide guidance to business units on credit assessment processes to improve turnaround time
- Supervise and mentor Credit Assessment Officers to enhance workflow and efficiency
- Review MIS reports and provide feedback on analysts’ assessments
- Present credit proposals to Sub Credit Committee (Sub-CC) and Credit Committee (CCC) after due diligence
- Conduct customer visits to evaluate physical assets and management quality, where required
- Monitor assigned credit portfolio through MIS reports
- Undertake special projects assigned by senior management
- Serve as a member of Group C of the Sub Credit Committee (SCC)
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Regional Credit Risk Incharge
