You will work from Amsterdam and Rotterdam in a young, multidisciplinary team on various assignments at (life and non-life) insurers. This is a full-time role for actuarial consultants who want to grow in content and execution.
You will be part of a driven team working on challenging assignments. Together with our clients, you will focus on how actuarial and financial processes will look in a future where technological possibilities are unparalleled; models are complex, and regulations are increasingly challenging. We learn from each other, share knowledge, and tackle complex issues together. In this role, you will lead client assignments at the intersection of actuarial science, finance, and data. You will advise on IFRS 17, optimize reporting and management information processes, and interact smoothly with stakeholders at the client. You will utilize data and AI applications where they add value and work closely with colleagues from adjacent disciplines to achieve results. You will also be involved in:

• IFRS 17 implementation and advisory for (life and non-life) insurers
• Applying AI and data solutions in actuarial and financial processes
• Stakeholder management with CFO/Finance/Actuarial and project steering
• Improving and streamlining financial reporting processes
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve sustainable results

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

You recognize yourself in this: You communicate clearly, work result-oriented, and get energy from collaborating with clients and colleagues. You take initiative, maintain an overview, and know how to set priorities in a dynamic environment. Additionally, you have:

• Completed academic education, preferably Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or comparable
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience within insurers and/or consultancy (actuarial/financial risks, capital management, balance sheet management, financial planning and reporting models)
• Demonstrable IFRS 17 expertise (implementation and/or advisory)
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and reporting requirements for insurers
• Fluent in Dutch
