Eligibility / Qualification Required:

We are working with a well-established and growing FMCG business in the UAE who are looking to appoint a General Accountant to support their finance function.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting, within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare and post journal entries and accruals
Monitor cash flow, collections, and supplier payments
Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Liaise with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and procurement

Requirements:

Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting, ideally within FMCG or high-volume industries
Strong exposure to AP/AR and general accounting
Experience working in a fast-paced, transactional environment
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
Strong Excel skills
Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Great attitude with flexibility and ability to think outside the box
Salary:
AED 17,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
