Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Camp Boss to join our organization in United Arab Emirates. In this leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of camp operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-organized environment for our workforce. You will report directly to senior management and serve as the primary point of contact for all camp-related matters, demonstrating decisive leadership and a commitment to operational excellence.
· Oversee daily camp operations, including accommodation, dining, sanitation, and general maintenance facilities
· Manage camp budgets, monitor expenditures
· Prepare and manage all camp related reports and submissions on high concentration on accuracy organization and timeliness.
· Supervise and manage camp staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions
· Enforce safety protocols, health standards, and compliance with UAE labor regulations and organizational policies in camps.
· Coordinate logistics, including procurement of supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor management
· Conduct regular inspections of camp facilities and implement corrective actions as needed
· Address and resolve camp grievances, conflicts, and operational issues in a professional and timely manner
· Maintain accurate camp and Labor records, documentation, and reporting systems for camp activities and incidents.
· Ensure effective communication between camp personnel and senior management
· Develop and implement camp programs and initiatives to enhance worker welfare and productivity
· Monitor and control access to camp facilities, ensuring security and safety protocols are maintained
Requirements:
· Minimum 8+ years of experience in camp management or similar supervisory roles in labor-intensive industries
· Proven experience managing large-scale worker camps with 500+ personnel
· Strong knowledge of safety regulations, health standards, and UAE labor law compliance
· Demonstrated supervisory and team management experience
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience with logistics coordination and vendor management
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and camp management software
· Preferred: Experience working in the Middle East or Gulf region
· Preferred: Knowledge of construction camp operations
· Preferred: Experience with worker accommodation standards and welfare programs
· Preferred: Knowledge and coordination with real estates for new camp hires in UAE.
