You will work on cases with experienced employment lawyers, people and organization specialists, and PwC experts in other disciplines, both in the Netherlands and worldwide. Together with your Dutch and international colleagues, you will handle employment law and HR-related issues as a team. You will attend internal and external meetings and are often involved in projects at an early stage. The work is varied and consists of advising and implementing. You will spend a significant part of your time on international, multi-competence projects. Additionally, you will advise on an ad-hoc basis. You will be involved in acquisitions, carve-outs, reorganizations, restructurings, and international assignments. You will advise employers on (collective) dismissal law, employment conditions, works council legislation, transfer of undertakings, and collective labor agreements. As a Senior Associate Employment Law within our People in Deals & Transformations team, you will also be involved in HR projects. Your workplace will be Amsterdam, but you may also be asked to work part of a project at the client's location, often in the Netherlands. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- You have completed a university degree in Dutch law from one of the Dutch law faculties.
- Preferably, you have at least 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in employment law and a broad interest in HR.
- You want to develop broadly and enjoy challenging yourself by tackling work you haven't done before.
- You are flexible and can quickly switch between different assignments and disciplines.
- You are a team player, proactive, flexible, energetic, client-focused, outgoing, and possess a good commercial instinct and talent for relationship management.
- You have excellent communication skills, including a good command of English.
- You are able to develop innovative services and enjoy the challenge of working in an international environment.
- You enjoy working in a team, have good social skills, an open and positive attitude, and a good sense of humor.
